WC Tacoma Slam welcomes boys and girls ages 4-14 for the folkstyle season and middle and high school students for the freestyle season. At least one season of wrestling experience is required to participate in freestyle and Greco-Roman.
Folkstyle season normally runs November to February. Freestyle season usually runs March to May. See the schedule for up to date info.
Yes! There are multiple options of membership. If you are only joining us for the folkstyle season, pick the Limited Folkstyle Membership ($15). If you know that you will be joining us for freestyle as well, we recommend purchasing the Full Athlete Membership ($45). You can always upgrade later if you are unsure.
This membership is required for both practice and events. USA Wrestling cards must be purchased online.
For folkstyle, we charge a small participation fee ($50-$100) based on level of involvement. The freestyle season is free to participate in, though donations are recommended. In both cases, a USA Wrestling Card (mentioned above) is required. We will gladly accept donations if you are able to give.
